The CTA announced that it has chosen Pink as the color for its new elevated train line which begins operating in June. Pink was chosen as the favorite among Chicago K-8 schoolchildren, who wrote essays nominating colors.
In the Tribune, CTA President Frank Kruesi says, "...it brings a smile to people's faces. That's not bad as a start for someone hopping on a train."
